Our take on this style interweaves German caramalt, American toasted malt, and more than a handful of Northwest hop varieties imparting floral, citrus, and stone fruit aromas.

Description: Fresh off the hop bine from the Land of Umpqua, Hopqua is an IPA brewed with over 4 pounds per barrel of fresh homegrown hops, grown, picked and donated by some of our generous patrons at the Roseburg Station. Pale in color, with a substantial malt backbone from a variety of barley malts, rye malt and flaked barley, Hopqua has a big fresh hop flavor and aroma. Commercially grown Citra, Centennial and Chinook hops were used for bittering, Cascade for flavor and fresh homegrown hops were added at 4 times during the last 20 minutes of the boil to add fresh hop flavor and aroma. Another addition after the end of the boil contributes to the fresh hop aroma. All in all over 27 pounds of fresh homegrown hops were used to brew this batch of beer. So welcome the change of seasons and celebrate the harvest with a pint of Hopqua and savor the flavor of the Land of Umpqua.

A delicious Northwest seasonal brewed with winter in mind. A dark double alt,
malty, nourishing and delicious, it's sure to keep the winter at bay, and yes, Sleigh'r does rock! An Alt ferments with ale yeast at colder lagering temperatures. This effect gives Alts a more refined crisp lagerlike flavor than traditional ales. The Double Alt means that it has been Ninkasified. Regular Alts are 5 to 5.5 % and 40 IBUs. Sleigh'r has a deep toasted malt flavor that finishes dry.
